About the role:

The role is primarily to generate content that data scientists will find interesting based on our platform - these can be articles, tutorials, youtube videos, emails and/or social posts. Whatever the right medium is for the message to reach the target audience.

The content will be used on our platform to drive leads and also for outbound sales to heads of data science or data scientists themselves.

You will work closely with the founders to come up with content strategy and ideas, from there you will make a plan of what to say and how to say it, do any data-science work needed to bring it to life, figure out what images will be required and then you will need to execute that plan. You will have the support of the designer and web developer to add the next level of polish to your content.

You will test and iterate based on data and keep progressing the marketing content.

This role will give you the opportunity to flex both your creative and data science muscles, and there is plenty of scope to progress as the company grows.

You'll have:

  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated either professionally or self-published
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends in slang and expressions - bringing the human touch
  • Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with customers and colleagues
  • The data-science skills to be able communicate credibly with experts in the field
  • Good time management skills, including prioritising, scheduling, and adapting as necessary, things move fast at Kortical

Requirements:

It’s not purely about technical proficiency and we place a big emphasis on team. Pandemic aside, we often go out for a drink together (soft or hard, it is about the conversation), we do team lunches on the company every two weeks and also do quarterly “Mandatory Fun Days” where we vote on an activity and celebrate the successes afterwards.

On the softer skills side, the person we’re looking for should:
